Why must I register ?
We ask you to register so
that we can offer you our services: you can register as a private
person or as a company; it is easy and it only takes a few clicks
! When you register you create your own personal area with user
id and password protection. It memorises and protects all the information
you supplied to Pasticceria Banchelli about yourself and your purchases.
When you have completed your
order, click on “logout”.
What can I do if I forget
my user ID and password ?
Click on “I have forgotten my password” and enter your
email address: the system will send an automatically generated password
to the user name registered with that email address. Enter the user
name and the password supplied in the “Login” area:
for maximum security you will be asked to choose a new password
immediately.
Nota Bene: if you have placed
orders with Pasticceria Banchelli using on-line payment, using this
procedure the details of your credit card will be automatically
erased and you must enter them again when placing a new order.
How is my privacy protected ?
Pasticceria Banchelli makes
every effort to protect
your personal information supplied during registration (please see “Information on privacy”).
All the information is
sent using a protected connection in order to prevent others from
intercepting them. The security of the site is guaranteed and
certified by VERISIGN, a world leader in the supply of internet
security protection systems.
I have changed my email, what should I do ?
After you have logged on
using your old email address, click on Modify to enter your
new email address. Remember that the email address entered will
become your new User Name.
What can I do if I cannot view the website properly ?
You must use an ISDN or
ADSL connection. In order to place your orders ensure that cookies
are activated. We are confident that we have designed and created
the site so that almost all users can view the site without
any problems. If you encounter any problems, do not hesitate
to contact us.
What should I do if I am not happy with my purchase ?
In the unlikely event that
you are unhappy with your purchase we kindly ask you to contact
our customer service department. Your consumer rights are protected
by DL No. 185/99 which regulate distance contracts and disciplines
the right of withdrawal.
Are on-line
payments using credit cards, banker’s cheques
and paypal safe ?
Online bankers’ cheques are guaranteed by the Bank offering
the service; paypal however
uses a protected system developed by eBay. For both methods, as
with the registration of your credit
card, your information
is encrypted with SSL connections (Secure Socket Layer) which
ensure that the information is sent safely
and cannot be viewed by
other users on line. You are generally notified when entering
an SSL site by an icon of a small padlock
on the screen of your browser.
Pasticceria Banchelli does not receive any type of information
on credit cards; the transaction
is managed exclusively
by the bank.
Is there an assortment of gluten-free products ? Currently no such products
are available. Pasticceria Banchelli will notify its clients
on the website when the are available.
If I logout without completing my order, will I lose the contents
of my shopping basket ? No. You can logout without
losing the contents of your shopping basket and complete the order
later. The shopping basket in fact is kept for approximately two
weeks, during which time prices and the assortments available
will be updated daily.
What happens if I am not at home when the delivery is made ? Either you or another person
must be at home at the time and address stated for delivery.
If you are not at home,
the order will be cancelled. The cost of delivery and the products
no longer transferable to third parties will be charged and added
to your next purchase. |
